THREE SHEETS TO THE WIND

Where does the wind begin?  These pop-up shows are a good contender.  Archbishop Harold Holmes brought a trio of twisters that travelled from Tulsa to Austin.

3 pieces of evidence of this recent southwest storming available today. All printed expertly in Black and Blunderbuss Blue by tip top folks in the serigraphy industry.

One for Tulsa at Cain’s Ballroom, another for Austin’s legendary stage at The Continental Club and the third publicizes the stomp at Mohawk.

60 bones each.

 SPOOK CATS WITH A GUITAR

Asked to design the make-up for an interesting guitar pedal collaboration between Third Man Hardware and Eventide: Knife Drop.

Makes your guitar sound scary. How scary? Remember when Michael J Fox buys the keg in Teen Wolf? You can imbue that kinda red-eyed growl to the simplest strum.

Ton of reviews and play throughs to watch if curious.

Here’s a LINK to an Italian one as a tip of the coppola to the giallo origins of the pedal’s aesthetic.

Real treat to work on something different; big thanks to the patience of Christina Inman at TMH/TMR, the Eventide crew and Jack White himself.

Most folks would likely reject using a religious-medical-revenge film as the foundation for the look of a new pedal, but not Third Man Hardware.

Cheers,
RJ
