Only 47 sets of The Raconteurs MMVI Tour Poster Sets up for sale. Shipping is the same whether you pay in one payment or three. Shipping will be added to the last payment of the 3. Shipping is $60 to US or Canada, $100 to Europe, $110 to Australia.
Each set has 25 posters in it of various sizes. The smallest are approx 20x26 (Euro tour poster is a little thinner I think) and the largest are the Chicago New Year's Eve posters which are approx 26x36. The long thin ones are around 13x36 (the Liverpool and Boston ones are a little wider).
For fun, I will also include something extra with each set. Perhaps some handbills from the Boston show, or a brownline only of a Chicago poster, or a test print, or a process drawing, or maybe something else entirely. Hell, some lucky folks may get all of the above.
The green video game looking posters are all screened on thick white paper, while the rest are printed on special French speckletone which I usually refer to as "fancy-ass". All but two of these fancy ass prints employ metallic copper ink occasionally with metallic silver ink. Please trust that in person the effect of this ink is rather striking (hence my heavy use of it).
Posters that are 20X26 inches (16 in all) will be shipped flat. These posters will be wrapped in kraft paper, secured to a cardboard mailer which will be taped up and then secured inside another cardboard mailer. My printer Steve thought this was a bit excessive, but I'm paranoid and want to insure that your set arrives safely.
Larger posters (the remaining 9) will be shipped in tubes (1 or 2 depending on tests I do this weekend).
In the interest of attempted equity, I'm asking for now to limit the purchasing of sets to ONE PER CUSTOMER. If you try buying more than one set, I'll have to refund your purchase down to one set.
Finally, I'd like to express thanks to Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, Jack White, and Patrick Keeler for letting me make posters for this tour. I tried really hard to make these fit the Raconteurs sound and personality, and hopefully this effort met with some relative success in the eyes of Raconteurs fans and the Raconteurs themselves. I'd also like to thank Steve and his crew at D&L for doing yet another excellent job at printing my frustrating seps. Thanks also to Print Mafia and Aesthetic Apparatus who helped out on this tour with their posters.
